JSONbite provides free, browser-based JSON tools at jsonbite.com. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights. The short version: the tools themselves collect nothing — all processing happens in your browser and nothing you paste or upload is transmitted to our servers.
JSONbite does not require an account, login, or any registration. No tool input — JSON, CSV, XML, YAML, TOML, or JWT tokens — is sent to a server. Conversion, formatting, validation, and all other processing runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. We have no access to the data you work with.
JSONbite uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet. The use of advertising cookies allows Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to JSONbite and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
For more information on how Google uses data from sites that use its advertising services, see How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.
We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — pages visited, approximate location (country/city), device type, and referral source. This data is anonymised and used only to improve the site. No personally identifiable information is collected. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
JSONbite may link to external resources for reference. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and recommend reviewing their policies separately.
Since we do not collect personal data through the tools, there is no stored profile to access, correct, or delete. For any concerns about advertising data held by Google, use the Google Account privacy controls.
If you have a question or request regarding this privacy policy, contact us at hello@jsonbite.com.
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of JSONbite after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
